Last week of Summer 2015

On Saturday, we went to the Blue Ridge Parkway hoping to see the Monarch butterflies migrating south. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any………now I’m thinking about going to see the butterflies in Mexico 🙂 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monarch_Butterfly_Biosphere_Reserve The leaves were already starting to show beautiful Fall colors.

Photos taken at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in April. We were on our way to Virginia to visit my in-laws, my first time in this garden and I loved it. The tulip garden was so beautiful. A bug’s view. Impressionism :-p

A proud mama duck
