Sydney II
More photos of the Royal Botanic Garden. Not exactly the most beautiful birds I have seen but the tree was full and there were several nests.

We left Adelaide early in the morning to take our flight to Sydney. A very nice first sight of Sydney!! We walked in darling harbour and took a ferry. The next day we had breakfast and mostly walked all day. Royal Botanic Garden.
Our tour ended in Admirals Arch. We took the ferry back to Adelaide. It wasn’t too bad, the water wasn’t as choppy anymore. The drive to Adelaide wasn’t bad either. Ali thought we might find a lot of traffic but it was actually pretty quiet. Lots of restaurants and stores were already closed at 8PM …
Remarkable Rocks was crowded. I would have loved to photograph this site at sunrise or sunset but we didn’t have time. http://www.kangarooisland-australia.com/kangaroo-island-remarkable-rocks.php Then we went to see Admirals Arch. The wind was very, very strong all day long. I had a very hard time holding Sabrina or my iPhone still to take pictures. http://www.kangarooisland-australia.com/kangaroo-island-admirals-arch.php
We woke up early to go to Kangaroo Island. It was hard to get out of bed. We were really tired. We dressed in layers. There were a couple of strange turns before the main highway. After that it was mostly straight. We stopped at a bakery/coffee shop for something to eat. It was cold …
We had a 5 hour overnight flight from Denpasar, Indonesia to Adelaide. We arrived in Adelaide at 6:30 AM. Tired of course. Picked up the rental car and went to the hotel. We slept for 1 hour and went to Barrosa. We were tired all day long and I was afraid of getting sick after …
We were in León around 7PM. We booked a room with a nice balcony and view of the Plaza Mayor. It was raining a little but it wasn’t cold. It is interesting to see how weather and other factors can influence your perception/memories of a place.
Beautiful and picturesque Spain.
We were thinking about flying to another country but instead decided to go back to León and take it easy. Ali took the countryside road all the way down. We stopped in Oviedo for lunch.
Bilbao is larger than we though. It felt like a comfortable city. The art museum is renowned and the primary attraction in the city. From Bilbao we went back towards Gijón. We found a hotel that we liked and wanted to have some quiet time. These are some pictures I took from the highway.
